Flower and Bird Chinese Scroll Painting – Silk Wall Art – Kingfisher Lotus

Painted on silk and mounted as a hanging scroll, this work depicts kingfisher lotus. It leads with a kingfisher turning its head, then lets the gaze wander. This is chinese flower and bird painting at its most charming, thanks to a kingfisher at rest.

It is a fine example of rich color at its most expressive. Look closely and you will find delicate lotus. The lotus is a symbol of purity rising from still water, a meaning every viewer would have known. It is made to be lived with, not stored away. A piece you will still be glad to own years from now. It would be at home in a city apartment or a country house.

Those who follow oriental home decor will recognize the quality of this kingfisher lotus scroll at once. It keeps good company with other asian wall art scroll; sprays of lotus adds quiet interest. It makes narrow, awkward walls look intentional. It photographs beautifully, if your walls ever make it online.
