Flower and Bird Chinese Scroll Painting – Silk Wall Art – Sparrow Plum Blossom

Sparrow plum blossom takes center stage in this elegant silk scroll. You notice a sparrow in gentle motion first, before the smaller details surface. For collectors of chinese flower and bird painting, a sparrow at rest alone makes this scroll worth a look.

Ink wash sets the tone here, soft at the edges and precise where it counts. The painter adds plum blossom in bloom and bamboo in soft focus for good measure. Look closely and you will find hazy rock. The bamboo is a symbol of integrity that bends without breaking. The format is the classic one: image above, mounting below and above. Each viewing turns up something previously missed. The work feels complete, with nothing missing and nothing extra.

Anyone hunting for chinese scroll painting will find this sparrow plum blossom scroll worth a close look. Among your chinese art wall decor, sprays of plum blossom will hold its own. A quiet corner of the bedroom or study suits it best. Consider it for a meditation corner or quiet reading chair.
