Winemaker's Notes

The 2023 Appassionata is a wine of depth as well as energy, the Oakville Cabernet is both complete and absolutely delicious. Time will bring out a whole range of earth, tobacco, spice and cocoa notes to play off a core of intense, dark-fleshed fruit with a nice minerality on the finish.

On Q Wines is a Napa insider steal. If you can’t join us for a glass in the Valley, this is one bottle that will bring the Valley and all its bounty right to you.

A beautiful, deep, glass-staining, dark ruby-purple hue. Crushed violet and lilac floral aromas are complemented by dark roast espresso, and an herbal component redolent of mint and fresh tobacco. Bold, rich, and layered with a dark core of fruit and perfectly integrated fine French oak spices atop firm tannins. A true cool-climate Cabernet gem ready to drink or hold for 10-15 years.
